I’m tired of asking for help and donations…
Today, I’m asking for a job opportunity, not charity.

I’m willing to do any honest work to provide for myself and my children with dignity.
If there’s any opportunity—even a small one—that could help me stand on my own feet, I would be truly grateful.

My dignity means everything to me. All I need is a chance. 🤍

OK, there is something which is genuinely possible here; I have suggested it to someone in #Gaza before. It isn't 'a job'; but it is a legal business; a way of making an income.

There are companies in the west which make 'merch' for influencers: you design the products, they make the products, they deliver them to customers, they collect the money, they send you a percentage.

The company which made my #PalestineAction hoodies is

They are such a company, and I already know that they're prepared to make Palestine-friendly merch. But there are plenty of others, so although the quality of what they've done for me is pretty good, I'm not especially recommending them.

My plan was to get these hoodies on sale and send the profit to people in Palestine, but I haven't done it.

Obviously, you could do your own designs, but you can also use mine if you'd like. There are certainly many people in Scotland who would want to wear something to show they were supporting Palestine, and I'm sure that's true of many other places around the world.

If you want to do this yourself, you have my support. If you want to set up a cooperative with other women in Gaza, you have even more of my support.

@anghamrlkhalil @aral @fabio @gvenema I can't employ you, I don't have that sort of money. But I think this is a way you could employ yourself, independently, which you might feel suited your dignity even better.
