If you had never heard of Synths, would you have gone Protogen?

Honestly, no. I kinda made the transition from robot-fucker to furry relatively quickly, me falling in love with synths roughly aligns with that stretch between robot-fucker and scalie, so if I didn't become a synth I'd probably be some form of lizard or snake. Not sure what kind it would've been, but I do have a scalie-sona in mind that'd be an Argentine black and white tegu, they're just... such friends.
