ADHD brains often like to jump from one thought to another through loose association rather than concrete linear thinking.

Recalling this information later, then, could require seemingly random association.

In my experience, this is super confusing to people who don't experience it

I confused a psych doctor when I explained to them how I remember things. She had worked diagnosing and testing people with ADHD and other neurotypes for decades and somehow had not come accross so random and aloof memory.

(She was also mainly testing my memory and it got a failing grade...)
