@GamingWithEars Thank you. I thought it a process and feelings worth documenting. I don't think anyone has really captured how something like that feels before and put it out there for people to relate to — or not — at least not that I've found.
@fireborn You're welcome, and I definitely haven't seen anyone put that level of detail out there about the process of making something and the online world's collective reaction to it before.
@GamingWithEars I think when most people release something, they want the kind of small-scale virality I was writing about. Most people release something with at least a basic idea of how they're going to handle feedback and requests and all that. I have released things with a plan before, and if those things had taken off in the same way I don't think the shock would have been so high the next morning.
