Linda Sgoluppi ArtistI paid £1.69.9 a litre for my last fill up of deisel for my car ( 2011 model) (Wales) I think that equates to about $8.10–$8.30 per gallon in the US. What is the price of diesel in the US?

Regular unleaded gas is around $4.50/gal.
These are both increases of close to $1/gal over the last couple weeks.
somcak@lindasgoluppiart Just got back from driving from Florida to Ohio, about 1000 miles. The price varies by state, but it ranged from $6.50 down to $5.57 per gallon. Our gas is heavily subsidized.
@somcak That's a long drive! I drove from Wales to central UK today and this morning saw the price has risen n some stations to £1.79.9 a litre.
