I'd forgotten that SFO doesn't use TSA for security screening. I don't have any flights upcoming, but my sister-in-law does; it seems like she'll have an easier time than folks at many other airports.

@jeridansky What I didn't realize/remember is that the Screening Partnership Program has been around since 2004. The TSA as we know it (that is, primarily civil servants rather than contractors), was the outgrowth of the perceived inadequacy of the contract screening which was the norm prior to 2001.
