@sgillies (Huge LZ nerd here) IDK, Bonham and Plant were childhood friends, and Page nabbed Jones as a fellow seasoned London session player. If they had gotten Terry Reid, then Plant and Bonham wouldn't have followed, so then maybe someone like Ginger Baker... Moon maybe, but they would've probably imploded even earlier.
