They say succulents become leggy if they do not get enough sunlight. But, mine turn leggy on the south facing window. And I even had some turn leggy on a west facing balcony (back when I had a balcony). So, how on Earth could I give them more sunlight?

@rhelune Maybe there just isn’t enough light were you live? I always thought my plants got enough light in summer, but than I tested putting them under grow lights in the winter and not having them go dormant and they have never grown that good. Turn out a regular german summer just isn’t enough for them to be happy.
@danywho Could be, I'm around 50 degrees north, the balcony where they were also getting leggy was around 45.75 degrees north. I do not think I would want growing lights in my living space though.
@rhelune There are a lot of different ones. You can put them under shelves or as normal light bulbs into lamps. There are also ones that have nice yellow light that doesn’t irritate you. I found that they help with seasonal depression in winter too.
@danywho I am not neurotypical and have pretty severe photophobia, I never have bright lights on. Right now the only light in the room is coming from my laptop screen with minimum brightness.
@rhelune I see. I‘m neurodivergent too, but I‘m more sensitive to sound, so I know where you are coming from.
