This statement assumes that ALL fuels currently in use contribute equally to sulfuric acid emissions, but this is absolutely false. Only certain types of coal and one type of marine fuel, also known as bunker fuel (banned around 2020), produce significant sulfur emissions, so the reality is that the vast majority of people can switch to “cleaner fuels” right away..🔽
