Paint still drying so I'm doing some spring cleaning around the farm.

Processed the rotting wood from the old service pit. Salvaged an old but solid oak beam and two pieces of pressure-treated wood from that pile. The rest will make a few nice saunas when dried.

Some cleanup by the fence while it's briefly accessible.

Two young maples got molested by deer, I cut them down as they do not recover from this.

While picking up trash, I found another steel profile under some leaves by the fence. Payment! 😁

Edit: Solved, it was an electric concrete mixer with wheels. The drum and motor are missing from mine. Picture of the whole unit in the thread.

Done with this side of the fence. Left a pile for the woodchipper. More to do around the corner.

Found more trash and a machine in a bush. Dragged it out with the tractor.

No idea what it was. It appears to have half a tractor mounting and a leg to stand on. The label says 1968. Wife can't guess the missing letters.

There's a springloaded pedal that still moves but most parts are missing and the inside is empty.

Scrubbed the type label a bit when hauling this away today. Slightly more readable. Type 50-65, I think? But what was it?

Also looks like the year of manufacture is 1958, not '68. Not much on the internet from that era :)

@yngmar apparently it's a "stroimashin", whatever that is … 🤔
@daniel_bohrer Yes, that's apparently a generic term for any construction machine, so not that helpful :)
@yngmar ok my cyrillic got me about that far, and I found out that GOST ISO 5577 apparently applies to ultrasonic inspection, but ГОСТ 5577-50 (apparently they re-used the numbers???) applies to "A mixture of natural gravel and sand for conventional concrete", so maybe it was a concrete mixer…? 🤔

@yngmar oh, I misread that! GOST 6577-63 is about "Concrete mixers of cyclic action" https://www.russiangost.com/p-252423-gost-6577-63.aspx

@daniel_bohrer Ohh, well done! You solved the puzzle. With that information and some image searching, I found it.

The tractor attachment was a red herring. What I thought was lower links were actually where the wheels go, which makes much more sense 😆

Here's one in much better shape and with the missing parts (the motor is not original, it probably was inside the pyramid then).

@yngmar ahh nice! funnily, the fact that GOST is a standardization organization is some of the few things I know about Russia :D
