"Trump earlier claimed that the US and Iran had held talks on the “complete and total resolution of hostilities” in the Middle East and that he would postpone American attacks on Iranian power plants by five days after having “productive conversations” with Tehran.

However, the Fars news agency, which is linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, denied any such talks took place, saying there were neither direct nor indirect communications with the US."

Trump realized he's got no juice.

I assume, the Iranians are not lying. I don't believe we've had serious contact with them since a few days after the US and Israel attacked them.

I believe this is all a shadowy propaganda play, being facilitated by Western media. If you watch international news, Trump is getting absolutely BAKED anywhere that isn't the United States because this is an unwinnable war of choice started for extremely stupid reasons

But he needs to save face, so he pretends he's negotiating. Nobody is negotiating

See, I can't stress this enough - you are being sold an image of this war, that is designed to further US imperial objectives and burnish our brand as conquerors and masters of the universe. It is VERY IMPORTANT for the entire Pig Empire West to have you believe Iran is scared, and broken, and begging US for peace because we blew up some of their shit.

It's just not the reality. Iran prepared for this for at least 25 years. They mean to see it through. They do not intend to GIVE us a cease fire

Now, maybe it will so happen that cooler heads prevail and Iran does ulimtately agree to a ceasfire. But the idea that this is already on the table, and the only reason it hasn't happened is because America's Angry Dad President does not WILL it yet, is absolute nonsense.

Iran is dug in. They mean to end us in the MENA. We were warned, and we chose this. Now Iran gets the fight they've built their ENTIRE COUNTRY to wage whether we want it or not.

Honestly, right now I don't think Iran would accept anything without major concession from the US. Things may be different next week etc, but right now? I think they are clearly winning
