"They're schoolchildren." Would you fuck off, no they are not. They're not even like children. They are adults, and they are adults who've been given this much space and power because a lot of fucking people won't dare to give them the consequences they deserve.

Children get more consequences than these adult cis men (and it is largely cis men) breaking the world around us. Children get more consequences for doing less, for doing nothing at all harmful, than these fucking power-hungry, greedy pieces of shit.

It's not cute or clever to insult children (who are, if we are truly honest, a major marginalised demographic) just because you think these adult men behave in ways the overwhelming majority of children simply are not allowed to.

Ffs, that shit pisses me off. Cut it the fuck out and start respecting the young people around you. And start calling these absolute shitbags what they are. You have words. Use them.

@whatanerd yeah, children have to be trained to be this shitty, really. Most are pretty kind, if not necessarily understanding what consequences might follow their actions, but they are new to the game, definitionally. Those in power, on the other hand, have not had a significant consequence that blew back on them in a way that mattered their whole lives, and it shows. Learning was prevented by privilege. And because it felt so good to learn nothing, they kept doing it.

@whatanerd They might occasionally hear noise from the other room, but they've been taught to ignore it, or at least, that they can ignore it, and it is easier for them, so they do.
