Undocumented people get nothing from purposely registering to vote but an unwanted interaction with the government. That's why there are so few instances of non-citizen voting. Think about it, MAGA. Take all the time you need.

@georgetakei Again: It's not that MAGAts don't know this - they don't care. It was never about the fact of voter fraud; their own ranks have been caught red-handed far more times than the number of illegal voters found in the entire US history.

It was never anything except racism & oppression.

@jwcph @georgetakei like the spurs lady texting how Latinos can afford to enter a Venue

@jwcph
It's actually an oddity of us election law, that comes from it's slaving ways: non citizens cannot vote, but their counted for allocating representation.

One of the beautiful compromises: don't allow my slaves to vote but let them still count for the importance of my polity.

But it would be politically harsh to voice that like this.
Thus voter fraud.

Along with not committing crimes or even traffic violations or anything that draws attention to their undocumented status.

5 states have looked for non-citizens that managed to get registered. Utah found 1 out of 2.1 million voters; Georgia found 20 out of 8.2 million, Michigan found 3 in one county out of 724K voters, Louisiana found 390 out of 2.9 million (shame on you Mister Speaker), and Idaho found 36 out of 1 million. Illegals don't vote. Why should they. Trying to register to vote is a good way to get caught and be deported.

@georgetakei And every MAGAT I've ever seen has had one of two reactions:
1. They completely ignore this fact. Just filter it entirely out of their perception altogether and proceed as if it were never said.
2. "Nuh-uh! Those IILLLLEEEEGGGGAAAAALLLLSSSSS vote all the time! You just don't know it!"
@georgetakei
Maga and think in the same sentence?

@georgetakei Those figures put the number of people who THINK they completed the immigration formalities properly, but didn't, at about 1 in a million (+/-25%).
It also implies that the immigration *officials* also thought the process had been done correctly.

Exactly the immigrants you don't want?

@georgetakei
They surely know better. They just want to fill *their zombie followers* with #fear. πŸ€”
