Cinnamon Tree Frog (Nyctixalus pictus) also known as painted Indonesian treefrog among other names, is a species of frog found in Malay Peninsula, the Philippines etc. Their unique call sounds like peep, mistaken for the sound of an insect. These frogs can change color from hour to hour, with juveniles being the brightest. When threatend, they can play dead. Tadpoles have their eyes on top of their heads to look upwards, and they drop from their tree hole nests into the water.
