It can be a bit tricky but not terrible. The display isn’t as bright as I’d like but as long as I don’t have the sun right over my shoulder it works. I typically try to paint from a shady spot if I can find one.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra which is just barely bright enough for it.
