@Acantigue It was my after school show (northern NJ ... probably WWOR 9 or WPIX 11, I don't recall).
I *do* remember making sure I got home on time every single day that #StarBlazers was on. There was no way I was missing an episode (and as an overly distracted latchkey kid ... that's saying a lot).
@Acantigue I gotta say, I'm loving #SpaceBattleshipYamato2199 - it looks beautiful, while retaining the classic feel AND even adding a few modern touches (like Saturn's icy moon Enceladus and its geysers)
@nukehavoc Saaame, except I have miss and have to add the old wave motion gun sound of ‘VIH-vi-vi-vi-vi-vi-vi-vi’ when fired.
