Doesn’t beer go bad?
It never “expires” as in becomes dangerous to drink, but it ages, and the results are wide-ranging but typically not great. The kind of beer, bottling process, temperature, and light exposure all play a role. Most are good for around 6 months at most, becoming “skunky” and just tasting terrible.
