Peterone thing I'm kinda thinking is the Iran War gives everyone a financial offramp for the AI stupidity. things are eventually going to collapse, but instead of Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai and Andy Jassy etc. taking any blame for it, they'll be able to handwave it away as "the markets" responding to Trump's disastrous war. no one gets blamed for anything. all the same people remain in charge.

I dunno. I think AI business models are such rat kings of obvious self dealing that when they finally start failing it's going to be in a manner that is really hard to spin as anything but "this thing was always just a scam."
