@bgmastodon I did not read the substack entry, but: The claim that this explains falling prices—or implies something “broken” or conspiratorial—is mostly overinterpretation. A more accurate framing would be: Gold prices are driven by financial flows; physical demand affects spreads and premiums, not the primary price in the short run.
