So let me get this straight: We can’t find the budget to pay our actual TSA agents, but we’ve got plenty of cash to bus in ICE agents with zero experience to do their jobs?
Efficiency at its finest. What a slap in the face to the people who actually know what they’re doing.
@Strandjunker the Big Bullshit Bill put money immediately/non-revocably into ICE. So, when DHS funding was blocked until they agreed to dramatic systemic changes to ICE, lots of DHS (including TSA) ran out of money or was shut down *BUT NOT ICE*.
I really wouldn’t say TSA is knows what they’re doing, tho. So much of airport security is ‘Security Theater’.
