Oh, only a few months ago Mythic Games was liquidated after failing to produce a lot of their Kickstarter campaigns that were fully funded. I mentioned their issues two years ago on my previous fedi account, but it only got worse since then. That really sucks for all of the backers for the Darkest Dungeon board game from 2022 especially since only the first wave of those ever shipped to backers. I remember paying an additional cost for the Rainbow Six Siege board game because of the COVID related production and shipping costs jumping up so high at the time, and that campaign also only ever shipped one or two waves too. Steamforged Games picked up the R6 license from Mythic and are going to reprinting that soon it seems. (And SFG also had a Helldivers 2 board game campaign?! That sounds so cool!)
I was such a die hard Siege fan back then. Even got the Steelseries black ice mouse as a backup and a commemorative coin from the 2020 Invitational because it was such a cool event (I only watched the livestreams during my AWS contract job then and it was nice to watch while waiting to flash server firmware). Now I have no interest in Ubisoft these days and will probably get rid of these old treasures.
Also got the Year 6 Collector's Case back then as well. I've had the sledgehammer assembled and on its stand for years. Now it's beach back in the box for storage. If I don't keep the board game, this may remain.
