The number will increase as the illegal US siege cuts off medical care in Cuba; dialysis patients will be among the first to die when treatment becomes unavailable. As fluids build up, they will experience shortness of breath, fatigue, swelling, itching, and confusion before their organs fail.

Breaking the siege is essential to keeping thousands alive; the US goal is to destabilize the country so that they can control the current government and take over resources under threat of force; regime change is not the goal, compliance is. This is the current US foreign policy.
