Dubious Blur@inquiline sometimes I think I should carry fresh N95s with me to hand to anyone I see masking with a surgical mask, but I see so few people masking.
i've also thought about this some. (have not arrived at any ideas worth suggesting)
@inquiline prompted by this I found a convenient packaging of five masks, and ordered three units.
the thing i'm always not sure about is, do i wear a sign that says "ask me if you want a high-quality mask"?
@inquiline that didn’t occur to me - just to have them in hand, for the odd person I see, seems the most important.
i had a bunch of KN95s left over after an event (for which i'd overpurchased) and gave them to a local mask bloc, i figure they know how to distribute them to people who want them. i guess i'm stuck on thinking about whether people who wear surgical masks would prefer an N95 (my guess is often no, a little less easy to take on and off) or a higher quality earloop mask like KN95 if they were offered them (i don't see why they wouldn't want a KN95)
