The media really isn't saying it, but US has for the last 3 weeks or so have suffered the most humiliating military defeat since the Vietnam war, and maybe ever in American History, future US Occupations anywhere in the Gulf are in serious doubts, the 'iron dome' has basically been destroyed, along with vast majority of US radar stations. Every single US base is getting attacked a couple dozen times every day and Trump/hegseth is unable to coordinate any kind response, knowing nothing about military science or history or basic geography, unwilling to even admit to the realities on the ground, a flight of fancy the sycophantic US media is more than willing to go along with.

This disaster is on the scale of the Russo-Japanese war of 1904 where Russia, thought to be among the worlds premier militaries, had their ass totally handed to them.
