Every day recently I've wondered if it's the day we'll no longer be able to go about our mundane routines because our dystopian disaster has officially made it impossible for just about everybody. Right now, I feel like that day is close. #americanfascism
@BethGMS
Bears hibernate through winters. I want to hibernate through the coming interregnum until sanity rules again. The world deserves so much better than the orange clown and his sidekicks.

@AlisonW @BethGMS I hear that.

I still remember when the clock stopped for me - it was the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. We'd just got through the hell of Covid-lockdowns and were allowed a small sliver of hope when that happened. One country flat out trying to murder another for no reason of value, just one ageing fascist and his dreams of greatness. Netanyahu's mass-murdering impulses and Trump2's "golden era" skull-fuckery is just the icing on the genocidal, climate-changing, capitalism-enforcing, patriarchal bullshit cake.

@Valent @AlisonW I'm talking about a point where most people cannot continue their day to day routines logistically because systems are actively collapsing, not when people will become aware or be devastated by current events. That obviously happened for many of us years ago.
