I realize some people will prefer the "vivid" look, I'm not a fan, it's just too much.

The Saulala version is more washed out, sure, but it's also a lot more pleasing to look at! I agree phones tend to just try too hard and end up overprocessing photos.

(Also I think I have a night-time photo from that exact spot!)

@kraks yeah I definitely could have bumped up the contrast (power) on the image but it was soft light with marine haze and that's what it felt like, a bit washed out.
It's a great spot, I'm sure your night photo looks wonderful!
