I’m on my (I think) fourth watch of “Wicked: For Good”, and this still hits me right in the heart. #wicked
Also on this rewatch: “No Place Like Home” isn’t Cynthia Erivo’s fault. She sells it as hard as she can. It’s just fundamentally not a very good song.
I think I mentioned this before, but boy howdy Marissa Bode sells that "we deserve each other" line. It's that moment of realization of "wait, we actually DO deserve each other. And what does that say about the two of us?"
The youths these days have a term, "little meow meow", that as far as I can discern means "this person did a lot of bad things, but to me they can do no wrong." I didn't really understand that until Elphie.
She gives her the hat! I'd forgotten that she gives her the hat. Great callback to the first act.
I'll probably fast-forward through "Girl in the Bubble". Meanwhile, "March of the Witch-Hunters" still hits hard.
