Uh oh, I forget how one changes the order of columns in the message view of #Thunderbird when using #Jaws For Windows. I thought a way to do this had manifested at some point.
@robini71 Tab back from your inbox or mail folder you want to customize until you hear "thread status. Use ctrl+alt+right arrow key until you get to the field you want to reposition. Use ctrl+shift+alt+left and right arrow keys to position the field/header where ever you want to put it. I suggest you go through the current headers to understand what's there.
@ppatel Hi, Thanks for replying. That which you state seems very familiar. However, at least for me today in Version 140.6.0esr (64-bit) it is not behaving as expected at all. I.E. I cannot accomplish it as described. Perhaps some under the hood changes have hindered the ability to do it this way currently.
@robini71 I'm running the latest version here.

@ppatel I show nothing that verbalizes the way you described. All I find are the following: Show Spaces Toolbar Button
Tool bar
Spaces Menu Button Has Popup
Search Edit Required invalid entry

Search Button
AppMenu Button Has Popup
Get Messages Button
New Message Button
Folder pane options Button
Inbox

Quick Filter Toggle button Not pressed
Message list display options Button
table
Toggle message threads Button
Inbox ExtendedSelect ListBox

@robini71 Your entry point is the toggle threads button.
@ppatel Yes I did explore that of course and still no joy at least by me it doesn't seem to be doing much of anything whether interacted upon with spacebar or enter
@robini71 You don't press enter on it. Once you land on that button, start moving to your right with control+alt+right arrow.
@ppatel Yes I did all the things when I use the keystroke you indicated it just says "not in a table" and that's with message view set to table or cards. However, switching it to cards is giving me the from information I was seeking in the message list view so there's a small victory regardless.
@robini71 Do you have the message list headers switched on? The option is in the view menu layout.
@ppatel In the view menu I've tried headers set to normal and all with no discernable difference between those 2 settings. I saw nothing that said on just normal or all.
@robini71 Under the view menu, I have the layout submenu. I have the clasic radio button checked there. Under those, there are a couple of other options like folder pane, message list headers, folder list, and message pane. I have the folder pane check as well as the message list headers.
@ppatel I'll take another look.
@ppatel Yuppers all of those are checked by me also.
@robini71 In that case, I'm a bit baffled. Other than me remoting into your system and checking, I'm not sure I can guide you without both of us ending up becoming crazy.
@ppatel Awww I'm sorry I never mean to be a bother. I'll get it sorted one way or another and if anything turns up I'll keep you posted. I thank you for caring enough to respond. It, and you are appreciated. And this stuff never makes me crazy I'm detail oriented so I never mind testing things and trying things. I also like learning so I never have to ask anything more than once. That's just how I am. 😊
@robini71 Oh no bother at all. I'm being a bit facetious. My point was that UI is hard to figure out over text.
@ppatel Yes, sometimes it can be and it wouldn't be the first time these days I've seen an app behave completely differently between 2 users. Yes #Instacart I'm looking at you. I know totally different type of thing but there we are.
