@MFennVT Thanks. It's been flaky for 4 or 5 months, occasionally freezing/completely unresponsive when I leave it alone overnight. I've been putting off making a decision... but now it has started seizing up while I'm using it. Sad to say it's time. It served me well for 5 years... I was hoping it would go another three or four because it met my needs well.

Anyway, I spent the last two days getting everything backed up to Dropbox and an external drive... double safety. Only two crashes during that process. So now I have a safety net for my data.
