I suppose the thing I give #TheOrville the most credit for is that they don't shy away from the reality—indeed, they kind of lean into it—that if something like the holodeck actually existed, then obviously the thing it would be most used for, at least by humans (I wouldn't presume to project our weaknesses on other space-faring species), is sex.
