here is a fun progression: not writing, i start chewing my nails. A lot. Snacking helps, but not very good, and chewing gum helps, but I still chew my nails - oral fixation of course, my nails and fingers have to be clean so I wash my hands more a lot more. Compulsively.
I also feel the slightest hangnail or dust mote or food stuck to my fingers or hands or hairs on my arms or legs or anywhere and start picking at moles or skin tags If I start cleaning the house... that's good. But then I sit back down and pick at my (dirty?)nails again. Anyway, #OCD
