All this recent talk of Long COVID, and yet no mention of the incredibly effective and easy preventative measure: wearing a respirator in all public indoor and outdoor spaces as you should during an ongoing pandemic.

I caught covid just about two weeks right before it was mentioned publicly. Nobody knew what we had caught at the time, doctors were clueless as to what kind of flu-ish bug could be so violent.

I always wore a mask in public and followed acutely all directives. Yet I still have long covid to this day. It still feels like it stole away 20 years of health from me. I’m still at half capacity today, and there is absolutely no help or recognition of any sort. I’ll have to live with this unrecognized handicap for the rest of my life.

And I also lost my parents to covid.

I truly despise vaccine deniers and all these other stupid egocentric fucks who just wouldn’t follow basic hygienic rules because “fuck you, don’t wanna”. And yet some of these fuckers still proudly praise themselves about it even these days.

5th leading cause of death in 2025, because we chose denial.
