I just removed what seems to be an entire dog from our living room rug.

Or for example my old roomba which was terrible about getting fur in the gearbox for its little brushes. Then I bought a new brush unit which it turned out had been completely redesigned so it never gets fur trapped anywhere but in the brush roller itself. Of course we can't have that kind of thing any more because ... shareholder value!
