Just that fricking bug since 26.2 where Safari load-freezes for an entire minute when loading any first page is more than enough to kill it.

I don’t know what the fuck Safari is doing to the DNS tables when loading up, but having to switch to Airplane Mode and back in order to flush the DNS cache every goddamn time I want to search or go to a web page something is absolutely ridiculous!!!

Take a look at Orion (made by the Kagi folks). Have been very happy with it for a long time, and it works well on 26.2 (I know that all iOS browsers are WebKit under the hood, but they’re clearly doing something different). Superior ad blocking as well.
