Went to go see a concert today. The band was Skillet. I was super excited, because I love the track that they did with Amy Lee from Evanescence like 15 years ago.

The band got out, started talking about how much they love Jesus and how he's their hero. Then they led the crowd in prayer.

Seether. The band I was thinking of was Seether.

@Firr I'm trying to remember if Skillet had any songs that had mainstream appeal like Jars of Clay (Flood) or Better Than Ezra (King of New Orleans) did or if they were just high on their own supply like DC Talk (Jesus Freak) and Relient K (their debut, nonsecular album that went nowhere).

@BalooUriza I stayed through the whole concert and did not recognize one song. But I'm also so far away from their target demographic.

The big song that everyone freaked out over sounded like animal I have become by 3 days grace, but I could not tell you a single word of the lyrics lol

@Firr That's kinda what I figured. I remember Beavis and Butthead making fun of one of their early attempts to single 30 years ago but I couldn't tell you what song they were riffing. I just know they play the Mabee Center (the basketball arena run by the Oral Roberts shysters) like 5 times a year.
