D2@tante if you haven’t read them already, her short stories (esp the Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas and the Flyers of Gy) are my recommended second stop. Those two are in ‘the unreal and the real’.

@tante nice. Have you read “word for world is forest”? It resembles a story you‘ll recognize*, but then is nothing like it.
