Some of you have expressed an interest in how I am getting along with the Bitwarden password manager.
I've now got it to the point where I have a whole raft of shortcut keys. Bitwarden is somewhat lacking in terms of shortcut keys in the desktop app.
I've also got JAWS so that when I move into specific screens, it sets focus to where I want it to be. For example, if I choose to edit a note, I want it to activate that screen and set focus to the appropriate edit field automatically.
If I activate the button for a note, I want JAWS to move to where the content is, that kind of thing.
I've ensured I can search for something and I can locate what I want within about two to three seconds.
However, this morning I heard the NFB presentation on 1Password, and I was really quite impressed with the UI and the range of shortcut keys. Yes there would be work to do because there always is with these Electron apps, but I thought the whole thing was a lot more polished.
I have improved Bitwarden to a similar extent but, hmm, I don't know. I might try out 1Password some time if I can export and import my existing data.
There are unlabeled buttons in Bitwarden and I have notified them of these.
The other thing that struck me was that if I got an Evolve, I would have access to all my data and efficiency scripts whichever app I chose.
