Maid of Horns: Simple, straightforward practicality will get you where you need to go. Try not to get bogged down in the details, and don’t forget that people have feelings. But viewing the situations you encounter in a direct, down-to-earth, pragmatic way is your best bet this week.
Youth of Daggers: Enthusiasm is a great beginning, but it won’t get you very far unless you invest some time and effort in learning real skills. The learning curve doesn’t have to be daunting - or boring. Dedicate yourself to working toward mastery, and you can celebrate each successful step along the way.
For those who are new to these card draws, each week I pull one card from the top of the deck and a second card from the bottom. The top-of-the-deck card (the first one, on the left) gives us some helpful hints about how to navigate our week. The bottom-of-the-deck card (the second one, on the right) is the “secret treasure” that can help us find joy in these Interesting Times.
