this is the most unhinged enter key I’ve seen in a while
@NikTheDusky the font will give me nightmares, but the UwU key and OwO are amazing tbh
@NikTheDusky Enter is Döner with duck.
@NikTheDusky Or, they mean Döner as comparative of Done
@Daseinsappeal @NikTheDusky Or Döner is turkish for to turn, and it's the return key?

@Daseinsappeal @NikTheDusky

It looks more like a penguin though.

@stx @Daseinsappeal @NikTheDusky

Yeah, I think it's a version of the Linux penguin

@NikTheDusky with that font I’d habe expected it to say

enter
🥺
👉👈
@NikTheDusky I unironically love this.
@NikTheDusky finally, the döner key.
@NikTheDusky backspace is labeled insert
@NikTheDusky der Gerät wird nicht müde
@NikTheDusky Wasted opportunity to not put it on the ß button
"Chefe, ich mache dir mit scharf s"
@NikTheDusky insert on backspace??? 😱
@NikTheDusky a linux shwarma enter button?
@NikTheDusky Döner macht halt schöner 🤘
@NikTheDusky Enter dieectly orders
@NikTheDusky wo ist das Söder Gesicht?
@NikTheDusky There are many things to address in that photo...
@NikTheDusky
bubble-pop-star is also excellent
@NikTheDusky Is that some sort of anti-Linux thing? Why else would someone cut up a penguin like that?
@NikTheDusky The Kebab Key. A shortcut straight to a tasty Döner Kebab. 🥙

@NikTheDusky How is it done?!

Ironically, I sent the morning fiddling with a laser engraver trying to burn through dye on the outer layer of keycaps to get a similar white-on-black look.

With the right materials, it's sort of doable with home gear, but not in a repeatable quality way like that. But I doubt someone called up a commercial vendor for this.

@hakfoo @NikTheDusky I'm interested, too.
My thought was a white edding, though that would be as impressive, especially the Dönerman.
@hakfoo @NikTheDusky I would like to know how this was done as well!
@NikTheDusky There's a lot happening there that I'm confused about

@brad @NikTheDusky

Are up and down both “bild” in German? Seems unnecessarily confusing

@rk @NikTheDusky There's an "OwO" key

@brad @NikTheDusky

Well that’s just good sense.

@rk @NikTheDusky I'm considering converting my capslock to "ಠ_ಠ"
@rk @brad @NikTheDusky "Bild" means "picture" or more precisely "page" in this context. So in combination with the direction that makes sense somehow ...

@Wintermute_BBS "Bild" as abbreviation for "Bildschirm" as in screen (just like "pos1" is Position 1 and "strg" is "Steuerung", control).

Back in the day™, you moved one screen up or down with such keys.

@rk @brad @NikTheDusky That's "page up" and "page down" as a 2nd function for the up/down keys.
@NikTheDusky I couldn't use a keyboard with that key, but good use of the extra space!
@NikTheDusky do you get kebab when you press it?
@NikTheDusky before I zoomed in, I thought it was a cat, with a sceptre, wearing a crown, standing in front of a dynamite detonation tool!
@NikTheDusky is the schwarma made with penguins?
@NikTheDusky welp. time to connect a normal keyboard in then.

@NikTheDusky "Bitte bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe mit der Döner-Taste!"

--

Please confirm by pressing the Kebap key ...

@NikTheDusky this is what happens when you set your keyboard to Turkish?
@NikTheDusky Be a hero. Click the gyro.
@NikTheDusky Enter mit Scharf bitte
@NikTheDusky this is so bad where can I buy it?
@NikTheDusky How did you do this? I want to redo all my keyboards now!
@NikTheDusky can we talk about the rest of the key legends please
@NikTheDusky it is an abomination and all but also i would like one
@NikTheDusky Enter at your own risk.
@NikTheDusky What brand of this laptop ? (You van read it as "Neeeeed")
