The Uncomfortable Truth
The programming community has a dirty secret: we choose technologies for reasons that have nothing to do with the problems we’re solving.
We choose them because they’re interesting. Because they look good on resumes. Because they make us feel like we’re doing “real” engineering. Because the internet told us they’re what “serious” developers use.
The best code isn’t the fastest or the safest or the most clever. It’s the code your team can understand at 3 AM when everything is on fire.
