@arstechnica there is no evidence it is needed and we can't do it safely.
Some companies think they can "disrupt" and get away with no checks and monitoring and that is why it tries to make appealing.
In reality, most of technologies that might need it actually are getting better technologies without such mining.
It is just wrong investors bet on it wrongly again.
