@emilvolk I've changed into my hipster drip and am about to dip my toe into 3RRR on demand.
Now where should I start? The interview with Zach Ruane about his new one man show sounds good, or perhaps I can listen to the Breakfasters talk to Bob Brown about environmental activism?
(I guess it does sound a little hipster when I put it like that, but I'm not too proud to admit that they both sound unironically interesting and I will actually listen to them 😅 )
@emilvolk I've become addicted to on demand, but largely for the opposite reason to the one you describe. Rather than switching if something is boring, I tend to rewind and listen more carefully if something is really good.
I've been randomly playing segments all day and they're all good. I haven't needed to skip anything boring yet.
@relhr0vs @emilvolk Same folks on FTAGH did the Dragon Friends podcast.
They go through these DND campaigns with musical accompaniment and a live audience. It’s absolutely hilarious.
(I reccomend starting at the very beginning with season one. It goes totally off the rails in the very first episode when Michael Hing violently murders an NPC, who mildly annoyed him, in front of a crowd… and then attempts to pass it off as just a magic trick.)
@DeltaWye @emilvolk Oh yes! I remember you mentioning it. I downloaded FTAGH and Dragon Friends and then proceeded to binge FTAGH. By the time I had gotten through them all I'd forgotten about Dragon Friends.
Well it seems I'll be busy for the foreseeable future, as I work my way through Dragon Friends and the entirety of the 3RRR back catalogue. I'll ring the boss and let him know I won't be in for a while.
