Congratulations! Are they uncommon there as well? I have only ever seen a kingfisher once, and it was quite a far bit from where I live

They seems to really avoid people and mostly disappear after early morning.

@Landsil Wonderful! Kingfishers live by the river behind my house, I see a blue flash of them passing by once in a while. Only once one sat down close enough that I got a half decent photo. We do have ducks too, they are easier to spot :D
