Equestrian statue of Jan Wellem (Rhenish for: Elector Johann Wilhelm of the Palatinate) in front of Düsseldorf City Hall. Jan Wellem was a popular ruler of the Duchy of Jülich-Berg among the Catholic Rhinelanders. He was born in Düsseldorf (1658) and died there as well (1716).
