The ISP Mr Geiger Counter speaks of is "Server North". Have been a customer with that mega corporation for over a year now, and unfortunatly haven't have to bother them a single time. Mr Mikey knows his stuff.

@jfmezei It occurs to me I've rarely shown my name on Fediverse, mostly because I used to only show my URL on Tw, and relied on people parsing my last name from it.

@mWare Cool! I worked for a mom-and-pop isp near Boston, Mass. In the late nineties, there were many. Most offered, only, dialup access. My employer offered isdn and t-1s, as well as dialup. Alas, they went the way of the 56k modem.

@mWare Earthlink bought the carcas of the one I worked for. Who now owns what was Earthlink? LOL!
