And AIM. You didn't use ICQ? It was an Arab-Israeli project, the first "Instant Messenger". Microsoft and AOL rushed to launch their own when they saw how popular ICQ was.
I think 5 or 6 years later, AOL bought ICQ and started federating ICQ and AIM. Then like 10â13 years later, AOL sold ICQ to a Russian company that totally messed it up. ðĪĢ It finally met its end last 2022, IIRC.
