I declare internet search truly dead. Right now.

Searched for “all bond references in spy family” and it gave me one page of poorly written articles (and some links not even referencing the show) with 1-3 references (often just waffling about a caucasian man being a spy, as if that’s a Bond reference that makes sense).

First on page two. CNN (No!) stock market. That can never ever be what I wanted.

Search is well and truly dead. The shitty AI response was hollow and superficial as well.

I can pull out a bunch of references already, no way I am the most observant person wanting to write about it. Just made me feel sad. We need a new internet, because 2026 sucks. 1996 was better. That’s a bad thing.

(Experiment 007, Bondman, the dog Bond, Operation Strix, etc. But I want to know more.)

@yon I second this wholeheartedly.

The other day, went looking for shadow (person's or object's) pictures to illustrate an article, but all I was offered instead were -poorly- contextualized images of Shadow from Sonic the hedgehog.

@tipiak75 Imho AI is very letter (of the law) and no spirit (of the law). It just gets, stupid.
