super fascinated that this person thinks basic-ahh commercial studio photography was “CGI graphics”

in the comments, they are arguing to the death that “yes, CGI was that good in the 90’s” and “it can’t be a photo because the lighting is too consistent”

is this what it feels like to be old

@gormster @cabel That was a really fun watch! As an 80s kid with an interest in film, I've of course seen the HBO intro sequence dozens of times and always wondered how they made it. I didn't know you could even get a metal model to look that uncannily smooth.
