This is also an aspect of #enshittification considering the landlord silently removed any option to pay a normal way and force the guy to use some app when he doesn't even really have a computer or smartphone. Honestly, how hard is it to just use an E-Transfer, or accept a cheque if you've got an accounting team (which I assume the landlords have).
