Fuck them, let them fail, suck the tit of Petroleum and die like the dinosaurs...
Except they're doing their best to buy politicians who impose tariffs on imported EVs.
Yes, it's become more difficult in the US. Can you extend the lease, or buy it out on acceptable terms?
What's that line about history rhyming rather than repeating?
We need to be asking our elected politicians exactly why they want to keep us dependant on oil - it is a fundamental supply chain risk for virtually everything, why do we keep swinging back to it?
The cynical may regard this as a rhetorical question - "duh! It's corruption!", but very keen to have some politicians asked about this directly and not allowed to fudge the question.
The truth is, it’s beyond stupid.
“The freedom to choose?” Without a doubt people will exercise that freedom and nearly all legacy automakers will all be irrelevant within 10 years. Good riddance.

I used to cycle to work, and I used to cycle for pleasure.
I was frequently knocked off my bike by cars. When I shouted at one motorist for coming far too close to me, he stopped his car and got out and threatened me.
After my last accident, i never cycled again, and gave away my bike and my cycling knicks.
So-called cycling lanes are hopeless.
I loved cycling, but I'll never cycle again.
